At Axon Systems Pvt Ltd, we are building HealthSync, Sri Lanka’s first patient-centric Personal Health Record (PHR) platform. Our mission is to empower individuals and families with secure, accessible, and easy-to-manage health records, anytime, anywhere.

As a growing startup, we are looking for passionate and driven Associate Software Engineer who want to be part of this exciting journey. You’ll gain hands-on experience working with modern technologies, agile teams, and real-world challenges while contributing to a product that impacts lives.

What You’ll Do

As an Associate Software Engineer at HealthSync, you’ll be part of a dynamic and innovative team working across the full technology stack. You will contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and secure web and mobile applications that power our healthcare solutions.

Your role will include:

  • Developing and maintaining backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and TypeScript (Next.js).
  • Building responsive, high-quality frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
  • Working with PostgreSQL databases to design efficient and reliable data structures.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including DevOps, designers, and clinical domain experts.
  • Participating in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure quality and stability.
  • Learning and contributing to cloud deployments (Azure) and containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Using Git for version control and collaborative development.
Who we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in web or mobile development (internship or academic project experience counts).
  • Familiarity with Java Spring Boot, js, React, and TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
  • Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a learning mindset, and attention to detail.
