The ability to access up-to-date health records digitally is a game-changer. HealthSync helps reduce paperwork and lets us focus more on patient care. A much-needed step for Sri Lankan healthcare.

In an era where a change in system is much discussed, it is my belief that healthcare sector should also welcome the possibilities of progressing to a digital recording system and in that context I believe that Healthsync could help the Doctors of our country to achieve these targets.

MBBS (KDU)
Having experienced healthcare systems in North America, Europe, and Sri Lanka, I have seen firsthand the transformative impact of digital health records. In contrast to the efficiency and coordination seen in more developed systems, Sri Lanka still faces challenges with paper-based records, which can hinder timely and effective patient care. Digitalizing health records in Sri Lanka is essential - not only to improve patient care and follow-up through better data accessibility and continuity, but also to support workforce management and optimising resource allocation. A digital system can streamline workflows, and provide valuable insights for national health planning.

As someone constantly juggling work and life, dealing with scattered medical records is a real hassle. I’ve had to repeat tests, carry files from one doctor to another, and explain the same history over and over. A centralized EHR system would change that. It means doctors could see your full medical story in one place, no matter where you go. Honestly, it’s something Sri Lanka really needs.

HealthSync allows patients to be active partners in their care. It saves time and improves communication between doctors and patients. I'm excited to see this adopted widely.

In Sri Lanka, patient records are currently maintained manually, which is neither sustainable nor efficient. Introducing a comprehensive digitalized health record system would significantly enhance the quality of patient care by eliminating concerns such as loss of patient information and difficulties in retrieving historical medical records. Additionally, this transition would reduce the challenge of allocating physical storage space for manual records within healthcare facilities, leading to a more streamlined and effective system.

This kind of platform has been needed for a long time. Patients can now access their full health records directly from their phone, making consultations smoother and care more effective. With everything organized and always available, it empowers patients and supports doctors in providing safer, faster care.
